Description

Postdoctoral trainees are eligible to participate in Penn’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP), provided through CuraLinc.

Penn’s EAP provides eligible faculty, staff, postdoctoral trainees, and their families with access to free, confidential, 24/7 counseling and referral services for personal and professional life issues. Support is available by phone, email, video, online scheduling, and in-person counseling sessions.

EAP counselors can help connect postdoctoral trainees and eligible family members with appropriate support, including masters-level intake counselors, work/life specialists, legal professionals, and financial guidance resources. The EAP also offers multi-language capabilities.

Eligible postdoctoral trainees and family members may receive up to eight free counseling sessions per distinct concern, per year, beginning from the initial intake. If additional or longer-term care is needed, the EAP can help coordinate referrals through existing health insurance when applicable.

Postdoctoral trainees and eligible family members may also access free and confidential legal and financial services, including 30-minute phone consultations on new legal or financial topics.
