Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) Training Program

Description
Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) training is a core component of postdoctoral development at Penn and reflects the University’s commitment to research integrity, rigor, and ethical scholarship. Postdocs are expected to complete RCR training requirements relevant to their field and funding source and to remain familiar with University policies and best practices governing research conduct.
The Office of the Vice Provost for Research (OVPR) maintains a centralized RCR resource page that outlines required training, acceptable formats, and supplemental guidance across disciplines.
Postdoctoral trainees should refer to the OVPR RCR website for the most current information on training expectations, compliance requirements, and available resources.
