The Penn postdoctoral community is invited to attend the next Spotlight Café, presented by the PPA Diversity Committee and the Penn Du Bois Postdoctoral Circle.

Spotlight Café events highlight scholars from underrepresented backgrounds in academia, industry, nonprofit organizations, and beyond, offering both professional insight and personal reflections on their career journeys.

This session will feature Dr. Nichole Garcia, Associate Professor of Higher Education at Rutgers University, whose research focuses on the educational experiences of racially minoritized students and critical quantitative research methodologies. Dr. Garcia will share her professional path, lessons learned, and perspectives on navigating academic spaces.
