Event: Juneteenth Freedom Day Celebration — Presented by the Penn Research Trainee Affairs

About
The Penn postdoc community is invited to the Juneteenth Freedom Day Celebration, hosted by the Research Trainee Alliance. This special event will take place on Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM on the Gutmann College House Green Space.
This year’s theme, “June-meme-th,” invites attendees to celebrate Juneteenth with creativity and humor by dressing as their favorite meme for a chance to win the grand prize. The celebration will feature music, food, games, and a vibrant atmosphere to honor freedom, joy, and community.
Please note:
- All guests must be 21+ and present a government-issued photo ID upon entry due to the presence of alcohol.
- Spots are limited, and attendees may bring one non-Penn guest.
- A confirmation email will be sent one week prior to the event to confirm attendance.
