The University of Pennsylvania invites prospective postdoctoral researchers to participate in the 2026 Philadelphia Postdoc Preview, a two-day event designed to introduce outstanding doctoral candidates and recent PhD graduates to the vibrant research community across Penn’s schools, centers, and laboratories. This program offers emerging scholars a unique opportunity to explore postdoctoral training at Penn, engage with faculty mentors, and learn about the resources that support scientific, clinical, and interdisciplinary research.
What to Expect
Participants will attend faculty research talks, meet potential mentors, and learn about postdoc training pathways across biomedical, STEM, social science, and interdisciplinary fields. The event will feature lab tours, networking opportunities with current Penn postdocs, informational sessions on funding and career development, and an overview of Penn’s training environment and campus resources.
Invited applicants will receive direct engagement with faculty in their areas of interest and support in exploring potential postdoctoral positions at Penn.

- Doctoral candidates nearing completion of their PhD

Selected participants will be invited based on demonstrated research excellence and alignment with available opportunities across Penn.
