The LGBT Center at the University of Pennsylvania invites the Penn community to an inspiring event with Chase Strangio, a renowned attorney and advocate for transgender rights, as part of the Scholars in Residence Program.
Chase Strangio, Co-Director of the ACLU’s LGBTQ & HIV Project, is a national leader in transgender rights litigation and advocacy. He has been counsel in pivotal legal fights, including challenges to North Carolina’s HB2, Trump’s trans military ban, and recent anti-trans laws in several states. Notably, Chase will be the first openly transgender person to argue before the Supreme Court in the upcoming session.
