Call for Participation: 2025 GAIN Annual Conference and Talent Fair
About
Postdoctoral researchers and early career scholars are invited to attend the GAIN Annual Conference and Talent Fair, taking place in Boston, MA, from August 29–31, 2025. Hosted by the German Academic International Network (GAIN), this three-day event brings together researchers and leaders from the German science and research community for networking, career planning, and professional development.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Learn about career paths in Germany, including open positions, junior research group leader roles, and professorships
- Connect with representatives from over 60 German universities, research institutions, and funding agencies
- Attend workshops in English or German on topics related to research careers and funding
- Present their work in the GAIN Science Slam for a chance to win a $3,000 cash prize
- Network with over 500 postdocs, scientists, and experts from a wide range of disciplines
English-language programming is available throughout the conference, and a special free English session tailored to international postdocs will be held on Saturday afternoon. For the first time, non-German speakers are invited to attend the full conference.
