The Penn postdoctoral community is invited to attend Communication is a Climate Solution, a climate communications and storytelling mini workshop hosted by the Penn Center for Science, Sustainability and the Media (PCSSM) as part of Climate Week at Penn 2025.

The session will be led by Dr. Joseph Romm, Senior Research Fellow at PCSSM, an expert in viral climate messaging, and co-host of the podcast Decoding Taylor Swift: A Storytelling Revolution. This event will provide practical strategies for crafting compelling climate narratives and will include time for attendees to work on their own in-progress pieces.

Workshop Format:

  • 4:00–4:20 p.m. – Talk by Dr. Romm
  • 4:20–4:35 p.m. – Q&A session
  • 4:35–5:30 p.m. – Interactive workshop (bring a work-in-progress to develop)
