About

The Penn community is invited to attend AI in the Classroom, a hands-on workshop in the AI Principles & Practices Series, supported by the Draw Down the Lightning grant initiative. This session will be facilitated by Rachel Hoke, Associate Director for Technology and Pedagogy at the Center for Excellence in Teaching, Learning & Innovation (CETLI).

Participants will explore how to integrate AI into teaching practices, support student learning, and set clear expectations for student use of AI tools. The session will offer strategies for aligning AI use with pedagogical goals and encourage open classroom dialogue. This workshop is ideal for faculty and instructional staff with a basic understanding of generative AI tools.

Participants are asked to bring a laptop. Light refreshments will be provided.
